The Journeyman Electrician position is active in a licensed program and assists with projects for the installation and repair of electrical power for motors, control panels and machines.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Installation of electrical wiring for motors and controls
  • Leads a crew of mechanics wiring conveyor sections
  • Inspect, repair or replace, any Electrical safety hazard.
  • Write PCL programming, HMI programming
  • Inventory electrical parts to be shipped to customer sites.
  • Assist Panel build (internal) department with electrical installation and testing to control panels
  • Maintains safe wiring practices per National Electrical Code 70E and Control Panel construction per Underwriters Laboratory Code 508.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of trade experience
  • Acceptance into State Licensed Journeyman program
  • Proficient with various software packages such as MS Office, AutoCAD, EPICOR or other ERP software
  • Ability to understand math calculations
  • Industrial and commercial experience preferred
  • Ability to lead electrical projects with up to 480vac, 3 phase a/c, wiring motors and machinery
  • PLC and HMI programming
  • Pneumatics and/or hydraulic experience
  • Ability to read blueprints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics
  • Ability to assist with electrical volt and amp meters, various hand tools

Educational Requirements:

Do you love working with your hands? Do you want to travel? Are you interested in construction and in becoming an electrician? Then the electrical apprentice position could be perfect for you! Electrical apprentices are able to earn a paycheck while learning the trade through firsthand experience. This position has a clear career path to becoming an electrician with the potential and opportunity to become a manager of a team and larger scope of work.

Position details/responsibilities…

  • The electrical apprentice is partnered with a licensed journeyman electrician and has on-the-job training (OJT) to become an electrician.
  • You’ll help perform electrical installations of new and re-installed OEM equipment.
  • Learn and perform all scopes of large-scale projects, from inception to completion
  • Learn and become expert at the installation of conduit, wire duct and cable tray.
  • Install and troubleshoot complete systems with an eye to the highest quality workmanship
  • Participate in official apprenticeship program and attend classes as required.

Here’s what we’re looking for…

  • Motivated individuals who want to learn the electrical trade and have a high school diploma or GED as well as reliable transportation.
  • Excited and interested in travel within the United States.
  • Successfully participate in our electrical apprenticeship program (and remain in good standing) until program is completed.

The Project Manager is responsible for successful execution of all project phases from development to installation and commissioning of packaging equipment for bottlers, robotic case packing and palletizing, and case packing and packing equipment for tray, film and shrink wrapping. The Project Manager will act as a central point of contact, communication, coordination, and reporting for all stakeholders (clients, vendors, internal IPM, and consultants) involved in the project. The Project Manager will exhibit successful project management and budgeting skills to ensure projects are on time and within budget; including ability to allocate resources, schedule appropriate timelines & resources, and establish subcontract agreements.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Follow PMI standards to oversee all phases of project lifecycles; initiation, planning, execution and closure.
  • Determine, develop, and manage resource requirements, budgets, and schedules for projects.
  • Procure necessary resources such as project equipment, supplies and staffing against time-critical deadlines.
  • Responsible for oversight of application engineering and engineering concept/idea.
  • Create and modify project layouts, plans and documentation. Track and report variances.
  • Manage the timely and professional communication of project status with customers, OEM vendors and IPM staff.
  • Provide risk assessment and assemble risk management plans and work effort documents.
  • Assess new opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of project management experience required
  • Technical knowledge and experience reading blueprints, drawings, and floor plans.
  • Computer skills; MS Office Suite, MS Project, AutoCAD.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Engineering or related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly works around moving mechanical parts.
  • Must be able to move items 50+ pounds.
  • Ability to position self around mechanical equipment for extended periods of time, including on the floor under equipment.
  • Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel is required; approximately 50 percent travel.

Professional Certifications:

  • Project management certification (PMP) preferred.

The Controls Technician is responsible for assisting in installing, wiring and editing PLC (Programmable Logic Control) Ladder Logic and HMI (Human Machine Interface) Applications programming. Install/Commission VFD/Motor controls for various control systems. This position assists with the final commissioning of projects; that assures all systems and components are designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements of the customer.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist in new system installations and startup to provide working automation systems.
  • Edit programming and troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Control) Ladder Logic, VFD (Variable Frequency Drive)and HMI (Human Machine Interface) Applications systems to improve process efficiency.
  • Perform a Full IO Check
  • Troubleshoot controls systems and electrical equipment at the customer’s facility …to meet customer requirements OR for the proper operation of equipment
  • Create and edit programming changes online for retrofitting or upgrading equipment.
  • Establish Communications between machines with ENET or Hardware Signals for the proper operation of equipment.
  • Aid mechanical and electrical team members as needed (same as training / technical support)?
  • Follow customer’s plant and safety regulations while at their facility

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years’ experience
  • Proficient with various software MS Office, Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000, AutoCAD
  • Strong Rockwell Automation experience
  • Working knowledge of National Electric Code standards
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, EPICOR, or another ERP software
  • Ability to work with electrical tools ( stripper, crimps, multimeter), Ease of Life tools, Tachometer, Labeler
  • Basic Electrical, PC, and Programming Knowledge – define basic for the career progression
  • Ability to read blueprints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics
  • Ability to wire machine controls and control panels
  • Pneumatics and/or hydraulic experience
  • Basic understand of Line Control, Controls and Mechanically
