HIC’s values of enhancing the world directly align with IPM’s mission to positively impact others. IPM’s partnership with Hudsonville Ice Cream was a great fit; two local West Michigan companies bonded together over shared values and a common employee-oriented culture. Together, IPM and HIC set off to innovate something great and fully automate HIC’s production line.
HIC’s decision to work with IPM to fully automate their production line was made knowing they would in fact hire additional employees. No employee lost his or her job as a result of the automation project. Because of the partnership between HIC and IPM, Hudsonville Ice Cream’s production has skyrocketed, allowing them to supply greater amounts of goodness to Midwest consumers and hire additional employees to spend more time on customer interaction and new innovative campaigns. The production line has transformed through HIC’s partnership with IPM, but their values of making things better and their employee-oriented culture remain.
